HRM Awards 2014: The benchmark for the best industry practices in Human Resource Management Featured

The HRM Awards, initiated by the Association of Human Resource Professionals, will be held for the 6th consecutive time this year. This event aims to create a platform for public and private sector organizations in Sri Lanka to evaluate their HRM policies against internationally recognized guidelines.

This event is a widely recognized and prestigious ceremony that honors the passion and commitment of organizations who have achieved ground breaking and innovative HR practices in Human Resource Management. For any organization, being ranked as one of the “Super 10” organizations is considered one of the top honors in the corporate world. The HRM Awards have been celebrating the very best in HR and since the start of this accolade, which was in 2002, the HRM Awards have evolved into being a competitive area for large enterprises and smaller companies to compete for recognition and to become one of the “Super 10” companies in HRM in Sri Lanka.

The awards that are featured in The HRM Awards 2014 consist of 10 Gold Awards, 10 Silver awards and 6 special category awards for the private sector. This year, in order to honor HRP’s commitment to HRM in the public sector, there will be awards for the participation of the public sector which consist of three special gold and silver awards.

The panel of judges consist of locally and internationally recognized HR professionals, who will dedicate their attention to processes that enhance productivity, promotes employee improvement and gives organizations a long term advantage in their respective industries.
